Europe and Middle East is the major market of horticultural fresh produce export for Bangladesh. Currently Europe ( like UK, Italy, Germany, France, Switzerland, Belgium, Denmark, Spain, Sweden, Greece, and Ireland, Netherlands is the second largest importing region for Bangladesh and the highest amount of fresh vegetables and fruits are exported to the Middle East Countries like KSA, UAE, Qatar, Oman, Bahrain, and Kuwait. Bangladesh is exporting some fresh vegetables and fruits in other two Asian countries like Malaysia and Singapore and some potato also exporting Nepal and Srilanka . Between two North American countries only Canada is our client. There is a ample opportunity for Bangladesh to export fresh fruits and vegetables in USA and Asian countries like Japan, China and South Korea. Association is working with related Ministries, Department and Authorities for diversification of new market access.
